Originally designed in 1972 Omkstak is a British design classic. What makes this chair unique is the combination of its functionality, its simplicity and its precise form. It is considered to be an icon of the start of the high tech era of design.
The chair has been in continuous production since it launched with sales now exceeding one million units. Pressed steel panels are mounted to a powder coated tubular steel frame and finished in a powder coat. It is included in permanent collections of 20th century furniture around the world, including the V&A London, Design Museum London & Philadelphia Museum of Art.
